Active Ingredients:

Clary Sage Oil is extracted from a biennial plant native to the northern Mediterranean basin, North Africa and central Asia, and is used often in aromatherapy for its calming and cleansing effects. In skincare, it helps soothe and calm minor irritations and also soothes tired muscles. Clary sage is also said to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Babassu Butter comes from the babassu palm, found in the Amazon region of South America. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a popular method for soothing skin irritations. It also contains skin-protecting antioxidants and nourishing fatty acids, including lauric, oleic and stearic acids. It’s considered a highly effective natural emollient (skin moisturizer), similar to coconut oil in properties and benefits. Unlike coconut oil, however, babassu is lightweight and leaves behind no greasy residue.

Rosehip Oil contains a bevy of beneficial fatty acids, which provide deeply penetrating, long-lasting moisture and nourishment for the skin. Rosehip oil is also rich in vitamins A and C, which help repair, brighten and smooth skin, by encouraging cell turnover and providing antioxidant protection from skin-damaging free radicals. These nutrients and properties make rosehip oil a preferred ingredient for preventing age-related wrinkles.

Andiroba Oil is derived from a South American tree known as crabwood. It contains a number of naturally skin-nourishing ingredients, including vitamins A and C, minerals, hydrating fatty acids and skin-protecting antioxidants. Together, these nutrients help promote new skin cell growth, accelerating the skin’s natural repair and recovery processes, which can help soothe irritations and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Andiroba oil also contains natural alpha-hydroxy acids, which stimulate collagen production to improve skin’s elasticity.

Copaiba Oil is extracted from the Copaifera reticulata tree, native to Brazil. This coveted skincare ingredient has a comforting aroma and contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds (namely beta-caryophyllene) to help soothe minor irritations and protect the skin against oxidative damage.
